What are the differences between pneumatic anchor drill RIGS and hydraulic anchor drill RIGS?
The MQT series pneumatic anchor drill rig is suitable for supporting various coal roadways, semi-coal rock roadways and rock roadways with roof hardness ≤f10. The MYT hydraulic anchor drill is suitable for roof anchor support in various coal roadways, semi-coal rock roadways and rock roadways where the roof hardness is ≤f12.
The difference between pneumatic and hydraulic:
During the operation of anchor cables and anchor rods with pneumatic anchor drill RIGS, as well as in underground practice, the speed of anchor rod support is relatively fast, especially for the MQT130/3.2 pneumatic anchor drill rig, this aspect is quite obvious. However, when carrying out anchor cable support, the drilling construction is rather difficult and the speed cannot be increased quickly, which seriously affects the tunneling speed.
The MYT140/320 hydraulic anchor drill, although its rotational speed is lower than that of the pneumatic anchor drill, has greater speed, propulsion force and torque than the pneumatic anchor drill. Moreover, its noise has been significantly reduced and it will not cause harm to the hearing of the operators. Especially in terms of speed, it has significantly shortened the installation time of anchor cables and accelerated the speed of support.
That is to say, pneumatic anchor drill RIGS do not have as much power as hydraulic anchor drill RIGS, but hydraulic anchor drill RIGS have their own pump stations and are relatively heavy. Each has its own advantages, so the choice of anchor drill rig should be based on the usage requirements.
